Proprietor Chef Logan Thorburn stresses that it is all about the food and knowing how to respect it (with little fuss) and how to very simply prepare it.

And as for fashions and fads, well they are just that! “I hope to achieve respect for simply cooking the dishes that I like rather than what’s on TV or what’s cool this week, I believe this is where the love should lie.”

"I am always open to suggestions for various themed events or maybe even starting a Wine Club. If you would like to share an idea and feel that the Creel Restaurant would be a great venue, then give me a call (preferably not at lunch or dinner time of course!) to arrange a chinwag.

And of course by no means least, my most wonderful customers who have returned time and time again in such a short space of time since my opening.
